Over the past few weeks many hotels in the central Bangkok area were forced to close due to the continuing anti-government protesters camped out in the Ratchadamri Road/Silom area. Since the dispersal of the “red shirts” late last week, the residents of Bangkok have started to pick up the pieces and hotels and malls are cleaning up and preparing to re-open to the public.

Most hotels that were closed are re-opening next week, between Monday the 24th and 26th.
