From Tuesday March 4th to Sunday March 7th movie lovers can experience the 2010 Japanese Film Festival for free at Paragon Cineplex on the 5th and 6th floors of the Siam Paragon Department store, in Bangkok.
Tickets will be available free of charge for each movie one hour before show time. Tickets are limited to one ticket per person per film.
“Movie lovers must not miss the new wave of female directors in Japan. By watching their films ranging from drama to (rather) black comedy, audiences will definitely find their new favorite other than Kurosawa, Ozu, or Mizoguchi. Most of the films are award winning films from local and international stage.
This year’s special program is the Director’s talk scheduled on Feb. 5th, by Satoko YOKOHAMA. It’s a precious opportunity to talk directly with one of the most promising directors in Japan.”
